Full Job Description
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-orientated Administrator to join our team and support the daily operations of our business. The ideal candidate will have excellent administrative skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for renewable energy.
Responsibilities:
Office Management:
· Oversee daily office operations, including managing supplies, equipment, and facilities.
· Maintain organised and efficient filing systems for documents, contracts, and records.
· Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for team members.
Customer Support:
· Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
· Assist customers with account management, billing inquiries, and service requests.
· Provide information about our solar products and services to prospective clients.
Project Coordination:
· Assist our team with scheduling, resource allocation, and documentation.
· Track project milestones, deadlines, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
· Communicate project updates and progress reports to internal stakeholders and clients.
Administrative Support:
· Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, and reports as needed.
· Assist with data entry, document formatting, and report generation.
· Collaborate with the finance department to process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.
Vendor Management:
· Liaise with external vendors, suppliers, and sub-contractors to coordinate deliveries and services.
· Monitor vendor performance and escalate any issues or concerns as they arise.
· Proven experience in administrative support roles, preferably in the renewable energy industry although transferable skills from different sectors will be considered.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and administrative software.
· Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-centred approach.
· Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, record-keeping, and document management.
· Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment.,
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (required)
