Exciting opportunity for psychologists who are committed to working with children and young people.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, committed and enthusiastic Principal Clinical Psychologist to be part of RISE core mental health services.

We will consider offering this opportunity a development post to clinicians currently working at an 8a level, helping you progress to an 8b via a supported process of professional development.

RISE is Coventry and Warwickshire's specialist mental health service for children and young people, previously known as CAMHS. You will work within our evidence-based pathways to deliver clinically effective, person-centered services to the young people we support. You will receive excellent support and opportunities for continuing professional development, training and therapeutic model accreditation, in line with service objectives. You will have access to individual clinical supervision as well as some group-based model supervision for those delivering specific interventions within the service (eg EMDR, CBT). Clinical leadership opportunities are actively encouraged and supported. You will be part of a rich and supportive multi-disciplinary team consisting of child and adolescent psychotherapists, nurses, children's wellbeing practitioners, psychiatrists, art therapists, assistant psychologists, social workers and trainees and students from a range of psychological professional
backgrounds.

Main duties of the job

You will be enthusiastic and motivated with excellent clinical skills ready to meet the challenges of delivering the best possible services across RISE. We can offer flexibility in terms of working patterns and hours.

This is an exciting time to join the RISE service and CWPT! There is extensive development within the psychological professionals workforce and involvement of psychological professionals in service development. We have been able to create new and exciting posts within the RISE service as a result and would love for you to join us in this journey!
